Sonic Objects #10 – Brunhild Ferrari & Alessandro Bosetti vs. Luc Ferrari<\/strong><\/p>\n Sonic Objects ist ein Veranstaltungsformat, in welchem die komponierte neue (elektroakustische) Musik auf die zumeist frei gespielte oder improvisierte, vorwiegend aus dem popmusikalischen Kontext stammende Ger\u00e4usch-Musik trifft. Die Reihe geht dabei vom Abenteuer des H\u00f6rens aus, das keine akademische Vorbildung braucht. In der zehnten Folge geht es um den Dialog mit der Musik des franz\u00f6sischen Komponisten Luc Ferrari.<\/p>\n Ferrari war in den 1950er Jahren Mitglied der Groupe de recherches musicales um Pierre Schaeffer und komponierte im Sinne der musique concr\u00e8te. Er distanzierte sich von der strengen Vorgabe nach der die aufgenommenen Kl\u00e4nge vollst\u00e4ndig von ihrem urspr\u00fcnglichen Kontext gel\u00f6st werden sollten. Mit dem Werk H\u00e9t\u00e9rozygote von 1963\/64 entwickelte er sein Konzept der musique anecdotique. Brunhild Meyer-Ferrari wirkte bei zahlreichen Arbeiten ihres Mannes Luc Ferrari mit und realisierte eigene Kompositionen und H\u00f6rst\u00fccke. Der Klangk\u00fcnstler Alessandro Bosetti erforscht in seinen Arbeiten den schmalen Grat zwischen Sprache und Musik. Seine Performances bewegen sich im Bereich der elektroakustischen Komposition, die er mit repetitiven Sprachloops koppelt. In einer Einf\u00fchrung durch den Musikwissenschaftler Leopoldo Siano vom Musikwissenschaftlichen Institut der Universit\u00e4t zu K\u00f6ln wird die Br\u00fccke zu Luc Ferraris\u2018 Musik geschlagen.<\/p>\n Alessandro Bosetti (I)<\/p>\n Alessandro Bosetti is a sound artist, composer and performer currently based in Berlin.\u00a0 His main focus is in the fringe area between spoken language and music. He created a series of highly compelling sound works where relational aesthetics meets innovative composition. Since 2000 he has been a key Ars Acustica figure, and created a vast body of work of hybrid, award winning, text-sound and radio compositions for the main Radio and Electro Acoustic Music studios in Europe. Among them, pieces like Il Fiore della Bocca (Rossbin\/DLR 2005), a work on the vocality of the mentally and physically impaired and African Feedback, a collaborative scrutiny on experimental music in West Africa (Errant Bodies press, 2004). Field research and interviews often build the basis for his abstract compositions along with electro-acoustic and acoustic collages, relational strategies, trained and untrained instrumental practices, vocal explorations and digital manipulations. Brunhild Meyer-Ferrari (F)<\/p>\n Brunhild Meyer-Ferrari, ganz offensichtlich deutscher Abstammung, in Frankfurt am Main geboren, teilt ihr Leben seit 1959 mit Luc Ferrari in Paris. Seit Luc Ferraris Tod 2005 befasst sie sich neben Komposition mit dem von ihr initiierten Verein PRESQUE RIEN um Luc Ferrari sowie mit der Datensicherung Ferraris Manuskript- und Bandarchive. \nAlessandro Bosetti is an emotional performer that has consistently toured in Europe, Asia and the United States. He’s been presenting solo sets for voice and electronics blurring the line between categories such as electro acoustic composition, text-sound pieces, and performance. Most recently he\u2019s been involved in exploring repetitive speech-loop forms as a solo artist and with his ensemble Trophies with fretless guitarist Kenta Nagai and drummers Tony Buck and Ches Smith. Trophies, with two upcoming cd releases and a busy touring schedule has imposed itself as one of the most innovative and genre defying combos of the last years.
