Die Songs stammen fast alle aus den gleichen Sessions, da <strong>The Stage Names<\/strong> urspr\u00fcnglich als Doppelalbum konzipiert war. Dann fand die Band, dass es Sinn machen w\u00fcrde, einige Tracks unter einer thematischen Headline heraus zu greifen und noch weiter reifen zu lassen, um sie dann zu einem sp\u00e4teren Zeitpunkt zu ver\u00f6ffentlichen. Das ist mit <strong>The Stand Ins<\/strong> geschehen, ein Album, das als Thema wohl &#8222;Abschied&#8220; oder &#8222;Trennungen&#8220; hat. Seltsam euphorisiert und zugleich tieftraurig f\u00e4chern sich die Songs der Band auf; manchmal wuchtig vielk\u00f6pfig und dann auch wieder sp\u00e4rlich-folkig instrumentiert.
