Asmus Tietchens is among the 20 international artists who have contributed a track to the digital only beneficial compilation „Rebuilding l’Alt Empordà“, released by Spanisch label Störung. The pice is entitled „Ventile“ and is previously unreleased. here is what the label says about the idea behind the release:
„Due to the devastating effects of a tornado on the 7th of January, 2018, in the region of Alt Empordà in Catalonia, Störung is producing a new work (str012) with unreleased tracks of twenty artists from around the world.
The aim of this release, which has been published in digital download form, is to raise funds to help on the reconstruction of the affected rural areas (specifically the municipalities of Cistella and Terrades).
All the revenue generated by the sale of this publication will be donated entirely to these municipalities. The affected area is closely linked to Störung, as many projects have been developed there which were later released by the platform or other means into de sonic and visual art world.
Störung would like to thank all the professionals who selflessly collaborate with this project.“
