Austrian label Klangalerie are reissuing Asmus Tietchens‘ 3xLP work Ptomaine, originally published by RRR in 1996. The work uses the RRR-100 7″ as its source material, which each piece ending in keeping with the spirit of the sourcings ina locked groove. For the reissue the pieces have been edited to a length of around two and a half minutes and have been remastered. The reissue project spreads the 3xLP volume over two seperate CD albums to be issued several months apart. Volume 1 includes 22 Ptomaine pieces that have been given track titles here.
