The three pieces on this album are steps in an evolution of live concert pieces. Each of the title abbreviations indicates a specific sound set. The titles (Imm, Att Imm Mut and Mut Att Narc Imm) become genetic sequences forming the possibilities of the sound set combinations. Mut imm att imm narc mut att imm mut narc narc mut att imm narc mut imm att narc att mut imm narc att imm. The concrete sounds featured in the various sets are recordings made with a circular water reservoir (Kleiner Wasserspeicher, Berlin), various electric kettles, a wet towel, metal percussion, and metal jetties at Marseille harbour. Starting with the Imm set in 2006, the evolution halts with the full Mut Att Narc and Imm sets in 2016. Performances of the different evolutionary stages took place in Europe, South America, South Africa, Asia and Australia. With the release of the Mut Att Narc Imm album in 2018, this cycle of work becomes recorded music.
